Spartan Trailer Vin Number
I have a Classic by Spartan boat trailer, manufactured in the late 80's. My insurance company is asking me for the serial number. Any idea where to look? I cannot find it. If you cannot find anything with the number then call your local DMV/license bureau and ask what you would have to do to register the trailer.

Just needs little things like vent crank mechanism, fans work but just need plastic block that the crank goes through. Also the ouside step will not stay locked in place when pulled out.

Hey Jennifer, I am no expert about Avions, but the vin# is usually on the manufacture’s plate, which should be on the curbside. It will state the serial number, model and the year it was produced. This link is from eBay, of a 1979 Avion’s manufacturer’s badge. The “VEH IDENT” NO would be the vin#. On other vintage campers, the vin# can be located on the curbside of the tongue (on the side of the tongue), just before the coupler.
